Some #BruinLove stories just have to be shared…. Submitted by Susan Henriksen Frantz ’83:
Joe Henriksen ‘51 and Arline Allison Henriksen ’52, met at a sorority social at UCLA in the late 40s. Arline was Alpha Delta Pi social chairman, and Joe was president of Sigma Pi. They married in 1952, and had three daughters (Nancy, Susan and Janet) who all attended UCLA and were members of the Alpha Phi sorority. Arline’s father and brother also attended UCLA, and her father was a founding member of the Sigma Pi fraternity.
Arline recently passed away, and the family misses cheering for the Bruins with her during basketball or football games. Susan says, “We will forever be part of the Bruin Family, and are proud of all of our graduates of this wonderful university.”
